the good:
mechanically the car is in good nick. we rebuilt the V8 8 years ago and the auto 5 years ago (stock). I used to drive a lot of long distance so reliability was important. We have 3 commodores in the family and my father is a mechanic. The downside is the paper trail is shaky - i could probably scratch up a few receipts from somewhere.
the body is reasonably straight, tyres are good, newish battery, turned over every couple of months
the bad:
the car has been off the road and garaged for 3 years
out of rego
windscreen has a hefty crack in it from where some screwball threw a handful of gravel at me on the highway near emerald
quarterglass smashed in
the tailgate has a fair dint in it where i backed into a pole a few years back
the ugly:
paint is fading/starting to flake at a few spots
touch of rust around the top of the windscreen
interior is worn, fair bit of the plastics cracked/missing, a bit of mildew from sitting inside for years
some kids tried to steal it, but i have a habit of pulling the starter motor relay...smashed quarterglass, stereo missing, the horn cover is missing off the steering wheel and guard off the steering column.
i was planning on doing a bit of a reno, but i need the space.
