Gday guys, these bloody Level2 V8 clusters are giving me the shits,im now looking for a third cluster. Im having all the trouble with the tacho part of the cluster and the needle just doesnt want to move as quick as it should, like when the auto changes gear i dont think the tacho even dips in the rpm. It actually works but just verrryyy slow to respond to the revs. I tried soldering the 3 pin regulator and it made no difference. Could there be anything else i can check?

i think its a holden thing LOL mine was pretty slow in the V6.give the mechanisism a light lube with sewing machine oil or similar and see if it helps just keep the oil off anything electrical
