Well yesterday she sprung a nice leak and tomorrow I'm getting another radiator and was wondering if the air con rad is joined to the normal rad and if so is it just a few bolts? Can get a new rad for 165 near work..

No bolts for the radiator, its as simple as undoing all the hoses taking the 2 clips out and pulling the radiator out swapping the fan cover then putting the new one in.

Going back a few years ago now, I bought a brand new radiator from Holden for my VN SS which I had, the Holden part number for the replacement radiator covered all 5 litre models from VN to VS, the only problem I had at the time was the position of the auto trans cooler connection was slightly different and one of the VN hoses was too short I had to buy a VS hose for it to reach, might pay to check the location of the pipe on the new radiator to make sure it is the same as the one you pull out in case you have the same problem, maybe after market radiators don't have that issue but worth a look. From memory it was the top pipe, it was slightly higher on the new radiator and the hose would not reach.
