Hi I bumped the distributor while tightening the distributor but the engine was off. I tightened bolt and timing had moved. It was in diagnostic mode also while checking the timing. After I checked timing when distributor was bumped it was off the scale so I’ve adjusted back to 10 degrees in diagnostic mode. Will the timing be right after distributor moved while engine wasn’t running?

If you set it to 10 degrees BTDC with using a timing light with the test terminal earthed you should be OK, unless the harmonic balancer timing marks have drifted- which is rare on a Holden V8.
