VN VIN Enquiry

    I have a '89 VN Executive as a daily drive, however I have not been able to match my VIN number to any VIN codes to find out where exactly she was built.
    Her VIN number is: VNL19HKT - can anybody help me out??

    The car was built in Adelaide the "T" makes it a Toyota spec built car.

    VN
    19 = Sedan
    H = 3.8L V6
    K = year 1989
    T = Toyota:thumbsup:

    I saw a posh version of a VN lexcen the other day in Melbourne (GLX), White with shiny window trims, I don't think the Calais got the bling? man it looked awesome :D best stock VN I've seen

    Not sure, I've driven a newport VP but I just hadn't seen a VN with shiny trim around the windows before, it had the GLX badges on it I know that, must be a pretty rare thing

    So are you certain the T stands for Toyota as we have had another Holden who's VIN didn't match up with any Australian VIN's as it was built in Trentham (NZ). I was wondering whether this is the same for this one seen as Trentham was still in production until the end of 1990 and this explains the "T."

    the T is definitely toyota
    the vin from trentham doesnt match with any australian vin as its not an australian vin is it?

    No it's not the VIN - it's the model code of the body plate.
