Vn vp climate control help needed

Anyone else here with a vn vp with climate. Does your climate control turn on with the car off?
Ie can you hit the auto button and it fires up the fan etc etc?

Im pretty sure mine never used to and now it does. Think their maybe something draining my battery

Also the diagnostics ive read all the info on this forum about it but i cant get into diagnostic mode no matter what i try

Just done some more tests and it looks like for some strange reason the climate control is drawing current 100ma even when its of and thats why my battery is getting drained

Are vp climate control modules the same as vr vs ie can a vr vs one plug straight into a vp ?
