I've found two causes of the phantom door locks, first was a spare remote being pressed in a bag. Second was resistance of the drivers or passenger door mechanism, a bit of a clean a grease of the moving parts and it was all good!

hmmmm, as long as it is the correct remote for the unit (assuming you grabbed a calais spec one) I'm out of ideas.

I can't remember the wire colors but there is two wires in drivers door loom that if you earth one out it will lock the car and the other wire will unlock the car.
