vn-vr rear trans caseing the same?

    hey guys the casing part on the rear of the auto trans on a VR...the part where the speed sensor goes in and the tail shaft seal goes (is bolted on by 4 bolts to rest of trans) is this the same as a VN auto box one? thanks

    well your in luck its different but i have one from a box i just stripped its yours if u want to pay for postage straight from a vr box and in good nick

    no worries just trying to save what i can gear boxes are a bastard to work with

    lol i have 2 vn autos sitting here, one has very low k's and had something wrong with it to do with some gear, but was thinking of ripping one down and checking it over etc but yeh knowing me id **** it up:p

    more than likely a solinoid problem . i picked up a box from ebay for ten bucks with all gears just a bit sluggy when cold. think i found the problem due to a dead return spring . so if u need any solinoids let us know i have ehaps of working tested ones
