wow what a hot head... I spend $100 in petrol gets me the same distance of about $50-60 in gas, per week... that's say 50 bucks a week I save.. or $2600 a year.. and ive had my car for only 3 years so being just a vs 5l its payed the lpg off and its also payed the car off in what ive saved!

Back in July 1992 I got my 202 HJ converted for $1200.
Paid for itself in 22,000km (I kept a detailed log at the time)
    I drove it 280,000km till March 2010.
If gas had stayed the same price ~22cpl IIRC it would have paid for itself nearly thirteen times over. Even though both gas and petrol went up and up in the meantime, the difference between gas and petrol in cpl got more and more so it actually paid for itself even more.

Been using lpg since April 1978.

I have a vp five litre that is dual fuel and at the moment the price of gas doesn't save much at all. Don't forget you use about 30% more gas than petrol so if the gas price is about 30% less than fuel the savings are negligible. You will find that if you run the car on fuel and use a light right foot you will get about 8 kays per litre around town, much better on the highway. If you want to hear the noise you will empty the tank in less than an hour, not saying it's not worth the tank of fuel!
My gas setup is the impco and it works really well, but that injection gas setup is much better.
Also, I find the gas lacks grunt at high rev- high load situations, you can always switch to fuel in those instances.
    hope that helps.
