VP 5L
Hey guys, i bought a VP Berlina v6 Ive now converted it to a 5L, got it all back in and went to try start it and I have no fuel pump when I turn the key but the engine does crank and nothing happens, I bridged the fuel pump relay to see if it was the fuel pump but fuel does go to the rails and it also has spark. has anyone had this trouble before or know what it might be?

Is everything you did the v8 conversion with from same model vp?

Checked that engine loom plugs are same confiuration & colour to v6 body harness, particularly ones under dash?

Fault codes?

Basically get up under dash with split pin or wire & bridge 2 pins to check fault codes...it's first thing to do for issues.

Don't waste your money it won't work. You need a $3000 scan tool to read codes on a VP.
