Hey everyone, been using this forum for ages to help with my car but first time poster here.

I've owned my 92 VP sedan for around 3 years now, bought it as a burnout car but only recently started getting stuck into it and looking for some tricks and tips

I took the engine out and did all the gaskets (except heads so I didnt have to machine them), v8 throttle body, new injectors/rails/fuel tank/fuel pump, removed the bellmouth housing, got extractors and welded the diff. Also running on 98

What else have people done? Any tips and tricks are greatly appreciated

Do you have the 4l60e trans? If yes then you should fit a bigger boost valve. A Corvette servo wouldn't hurt either. Also you should have the valve body reamed and a bigger piston and heavy spring fitted.

The biggest performance improvement can be had by adding some P plates:D

I'm not entirely sure on what trans I have, I'll have to check. I was thinking of a stage 1 B&M shift kit as well

Important difference to note, VN/VP have a TH700/4L60 which are hydraulic and have a kickdown cable, the 4L60e in the VR/VS is electronic. That little 'e' is a big difference, don't wanna make that mistake when buying parts OP.
