VP Commodore Light Switch

I have an issue with my light switch mechanism. When I turn the lights on full, they only come on in parking light mode, even the high beam does not work.

After some testing I have found if I pull the mechanism a bit the lights will come on full (can hear a wire sparking noise when doing this). It would seem I have a loose wire?? If so, how do I get remove that part to get into the wiring?

Hi you could try pulling the switch out of the dash & look at the wiring or just replace the switch have repaired or replaced a few of these
being a auto eleccy

Is it hard to remove the switch? do you just pull it out??

Hi from memory i used scewdriver to pry it out but have not done one in a while
