Hi all,

Fairly new to this site and also new to owning a Commodore. Recently acquired a 1992 VP Berlina off a mate which needs a roadworthy. I noticed the drivers side door lock wont open from the outside with the key but the passenger side door will. Surely it's nothing too serious but will obviously need fixing for it to be roadworthy and for me to start cruising in the beast. Anyone got tips on dodgy locks? Or a half decent locksmith who may specialise in autos? Car is located in Prahran and has no central locking, key only.

Cheers,
G

It may need a new lock and new key cut. Mine does the same, except it will unlock but not lock with the key. Central locking works fine though. Probably going to be a matter of removing the trim and seeing if something is not in its correct posi first though.

Okay, thanks for the tip!
