1993 VP 3.8L V6 executive
My 1993 VP executive V6 gets 16.4L per 100km at best, it idles a bit rough and the temperature gauge is always saying its cool.

Anyone reckon these problems are all linked?

wheels are aligned and balanced

also most people think i should replace the O2 sensor but i dont wanna replace it if its not gonna do anything

any ideas?

I'd say the temp sensor is not doing what it should and the ECU thinks the car is cold and give the engine more fuel than it needs.

I'd start with replacing the temp sensor and see how you go.

O2 sensor is a good second choice.

haha too complicated I think you're a step ahead of yourself

Maybe it thinks it's cold because it is.. try the thermostat :)

I answered this just before in another thread, sorry for digging this one out too :D
