My Sons Handbrake Keeps Jamming When Its On.the Button Wont Push In And The Only Way To Shift It Is Hitting The Button With The Handle Of A Hammer After Pulling The Brake Fully Back.
This Is Obviously Undesirable So He Has Stopped Using The Hand Brake Unless Really Necessary.mechanic Said It Is Worn And Needs To Be Replaced.it Has Gradually Got Worse Over The Last Few Weeks
We Have Tried Wd40 Onto The Button But Still Not Good.can U Help Me Please

if you have tried lifting the handle while pushing and it doesnt wrk, the problem lyes inside the handbrake itself, theres a metal rod which gets jammed. You will most likely need a new lever assembly.
