hey guys, I went down to the local shops today, just usual 15 minute sort of trip, car was driving nicely. then when i pulled into the park and popped the shifter into [P] the revs went right up to 2000 rpm and stayed there. the same thing happens in [N]. the idle in blue [D] is at around 1000!! When i got home i disconnected the battery for ten minutes in hopes of resetting the ecu. but the problem is still there i havent done anything to the car in recent weeks except topped up the levels in the radiator, and that was 2 weeks ago. so this has me stumped. anyone got any suggestions?
problem solved. plug attached to bottom of the throttle body had come unplugged. mods feel free to delete this thread if you want
