vp manual clutch pedal spring

I just installed the manual pedal box in my vp and now I can't figure out how the spring on the clutch pedal goes. I don't know how it sits on the pedal so that there is spring pressure on the pedal or what end goes into the bracket for the other end of the spring. any help or links to a photo would be great thanks
