Hey guys just wondering if anyone on here is selling a full manual conversion for a VP V6 or if anyone knows where to get one in SA.

    All help appreciated.

Call a wrecker and get them to hot line it. That way you can get an idea of cost. Thats assuming they would charge top dollar for the conversion bits you need.

Not sure if you have to change the crank to fit a 5 speed box.

as long as it is of a later model vn or something newer then it will fit.
Early vn's had different bolt patterns.

private sale would be around $500 mark for a conversion kit.
Cheaper then fixing most of the autos

Try Christies Beach Auto Wreckers 8382 4725.

    See what they can do.

I'd suggest staying away from any wrecker for driveline parts. There all happy when your giving them money, but as soon as theres a problem, they don't want to know you, and they don't honour their warranty (not even worth the paper its printed on).

Go to a specific gearbox builder, or buy a conversion out the trader. You'll have better odds that way. (my first gearbox i got as a conversion kit from Sydney for $1500 delivered, all the wreckers here want $2000 just for a box)
