VP to VS Dash Conversion Wiring Help

markovr and frition you guys are great im doing a vs stato dash onto my vn calais loom this is going to help big time.

I now have illumination on the instruments. It turned out the black and grey wires that were joined on the vp dimmer plug needed to be joined. I presume I would use the other wires from the dimmer plug to attach to the vs light switch to get the dimmer working?

how about the dome switch on the headlight switch...does that work? Dimmer needs a external resistor to be installed some where but I never use mine so I reckon it isnt worth the trouble.

what have you done in reguards to speedo pulses for the speedo and ecu as the VP sender sends out different amout of pulses

I think friction used his old cluster wiring and ecu and just put the dash pad out of a vs into his vp.

you could put a test light onto the rear demister to check if it works.there should be a bit of metal solderd onto the rear window just put the test light on it and yeah.hope that helps

A quick question is the demister switch momemtary or push on push off type?
