Hi all just after some advice I got a VP of my dad and have done the following , replaced plugs, leads, coils, oil, filters all, brake fluid and coolant and all hoses.
It runs not to bad ,do these cars need a tune up by a mechanic.?

Not really, you should clean the throttle body if you feel comfortable. Also the IAC valve remove it from the TB and clean the black gunk out.

Use TB cleaner and a 20-25mm soft paintbrush to clean the IAC and TB.

Yes it will make it much easier. Especially to remove the IAC. Go carefully and you might save the gaskets. I have reused mine 3 or 4 times now.

Is it a 5 litre or v6? If it’s a 5 litre it wouldn’t hurt to check where the timing is, make sure it’s correct as they run a distributor
