i have a 92 VP V6 exutive with a 2.5 inch exhaust and a pod filter the odometer hit 180 last week and it seems to have more power than any of my mates vp's, i was jus wonderin if any one could help me out n give me some tips for what i could do to get some more power without spending too much i am prepared to spend a fair bit over time but it would be easier if it was little bits at a time, i know everyone is gunna say jus get a v8 but i want something unique and i was thinking of eventually turboing it of supercharging it. i was thinking of getting an engine rebuild also and i have heard theat i can have it bored to about 4.1 litres instead of 3.8 is this true. any thoughts??? i also have a vp calais with body damage only n i was thinking of putting the lsd independant rear suspension and anything else that you could recomend on to my executive also does any one need any parts for a vp calais as i am gunna sell it for wrecking in parts soon i am in brisbane if that is helpful if it sounds like i dont know much about cars its cos i dont i am only 18 and jus wanna learn some stuff and hopefully have a nice car thanx
extractors, port/polished heads. you can convert your exec to IRS LSD if you want, probably a good idea! depends how much money you have. any regarding wrecking your VP, ill take the back seat and spats if thats ok [=
too many things too list, have a search champ you might find some good stuff, get rid of your pod would be a good idea and get a cold air intake and a kn&n panel filter, yeah it might suck in good air but the air its getting is hot and not clean.
i probably should have been a bit more specific about the calais fro wrecking the calais seats are already in my exec and there is front and rear damage to the calais ( i got sandwiched) so the grille is stuffed as is the body kit i meant more like mechanical parts or anything like that cos i am also thinkin of puttin most of the interior into my exec like power windows n all that burnout_bro cheers for the tip mate i will probably do the cold air intake soon, i was also thinkin about buyin a sv3800 chip from ebay or another memcal of some sort but they all claim to give different amounts of kws i want to get one but i dont want one that is gunna stuff my car, i heard about one that tricks the computer or sumthin to thinkin that it is cold or sumthin but that doesnt sound like a good idea but yeah i dont really know any help please

If you want to have a pretty quick car try this: VS s/c cai, get an lsd with 3.45or lower gears, if it's auto get a shift kit and maybe a 2500 stally, that should be a weapon,then get extractors, and if you want boost get a toyota supercharger like what i have, then get a v8 throttle body and slightly bigger injectors and a decent tune a you should be able shake off o fair few V8's with that.
10000_fists thanx for the tips mate sounds like it would go good without goin ova the top, got any idea (fair estimate) how many kw i would have after doin that, i got lsd i jus gotta fit it, i had a calais and its smashed up but all the mechanical stuff is still good, do u know if it will jus go straight on or will i have to change anything
