Hey peeps help needed I replaced the leads on my car now and it sounds like its running 7 not 8 I seen a diagram on here just wanting to know how right it is

Yeah I know that mate but its got me do I go in a clockwise direaction from number one

Same one I've done mate cheers.I've gone over it 4.5 times so what else could it be dizzy has not been removed made sure num 1 pistion was up rotor is pointing to num 1 lead when I start it. it go's to 1800rpm then drops down to about 800 then stalls

Well if you've followed the firing order then you have it right.... if you managed to f up and go backwards it wouldn't be running at all and you'd have it backfiring a lot (flames out eh intake and puffs of smoke out the exhaust)..... and a flat battery from trying to start it..... what else have you changed? why change the leads only? are the plugs, dizzy cap & rotor button in good nick?
