vp vs alternator

The catalogue listed VN-VS Series 2 V6, and had a different part number for VS Series 3-VY. Might have to put scrub out VS in the earlier listing.

I just picked up a new genuine GM VS-VY V6 alternator for $200

That's a pretty damn good price for NZ (mate always whinges about commo part prices over there lol). Ebay has some for $150 new but not sure how reliable they are. Even the Bosch ones are only $250. They've come down heaps these past few years.

Yeah, regular price around here is about $400 for a brand new alternator, I was just fortunate that my local wrecker had brand new one on the shelf. Even his 2nd hand units aren't bad @ $50, others were wanting closer to $150 for a used one.

Hey i know this is a year old but i have been lookin for a vr alternater but it is not like the vn vp vr with exposed fins its like a vs vt but not off an ecotech can anyone help..
