Hey guys so i have run into a tiny misfire on my freshly built engine, sounds like its fuckin around with fuel and spark timing
I have run a comp check and all is well but i had no doubts there

Im thinking its because the cam is an 88 flanged S1 cam with different duration and such to the one its expecting from 92 S2 engine.
Also unplugging the oxygen sensor doesnt change the way it runs at all, if thats any use to know.

Can i just swap an 88/89 ecu straight in like are the plugs the same?? Wiring??
Should i change the whole ecu or just swap memcal to S1?

I heard the o2 sensor is different as in 1 wire not 2 wires.

Basically the same ECU, can't hurt to try a memcal swap.

Ecu are all same just 9 different memcal tunes/revisions which basically all junk compared to proper tuning.

Hit up Vlad on pcmhacking or me if need his fb detail...should be able to help you out with a tune like he did with mine when it was v6...tried 5 different memcals each was different but one car came with vp ute was aftermarket brand that copied a sv3800 which was corrupted lol
