hi i have bought a kit basicly its all that sits on the left hand side of the engine bay. im told its pretty much the same as a v6 which has thermo fans.

so what ive done is the kit is pluged in and it pluged into the existing loom and all that wiring. and the thermo fans are pluged in...

my question is due to the fact that the fans still dont come on ... do i need to edit the memcal/chip to switch the fan on?

other question is did all the v8's have clutch fan? im asking cuz i was thinking of maybe looking for a vs v8 chip if that has a thermo fan.. but im thinking all the v8's had clutch fan..

You will need to have your chip programmed for the fans to come on. The V6 is already turned on but the V8 has to be programmed. I believe the VT was the first V8 to have thermos.
