Probably best to by a complete CAI like the ones from MACE.
pod in open engine bay sucks (hot air that is) and will need a front bracket to stop it waving around - but they always look crap IMO.

Yeah agree with Deuce, don't bother unless you fit a Mace CAI. I have just bought one, which should arrive within two weeks.

I've had one since a month after I got my car. Felt good to ditch the hot pod the previous owner fitted.
Even lined my CAI with 1" thick freezer panel to further reduce heat transfer.

They sell them for 250 plus freight. But Mace are considering have free freight in May deal. Freight is around 22 bucks.

Im waiting to see what the kit comes with. But i reckon I will be wrapping the intake tube with insulation tape, because the V6 as you know has the intake pipe running right above the headers.
