hey guys. been having a problem with my vr

it wont start. it cranks for ages but wont start.

but if i remove the lead between the coil and the distributor it will start run for about 30 secs or so. then die.

what should i be looking for?

i know its either a fuel or ignition issue. just not quite sure how to check and what to check.

Haydz, i dont quiet get what you saud there. If you disonnect the lead between the coil and distributor how does the car work at all, it would have zero spark.

sorry guys.

i mean if i disconnect then re connect the lead between the coil and distributor. it will start again.

but only for 30 seconds or so. then it will stall no matter what. even if i try holding the revs up.
