   hey pplz,
   i needa get a new alternator for my VR SS 5ltr, just wondering if some1 can tell me what size a stock 1 is and if i should get bigger then stock or not?

   Can't help you with a price but I can tell you that your old one probably only needs new brushes which come with a new regulator for about $50....thats if you undo the 2 screws needed to fit them. If the old one kept the battery charged then why change. In the end it comes down to how much cash you are willing to part with.
