VR auto issues

Gday people, got a bit of a strange one here, i have a 93 VR Calais V6, now the problem is with the auto, it runs perfectly, after about 40 or so minutes of driving it begins slipping on take off, but if i go through the gears manually it works fine lol, any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Only thing I can suggest is that the fluid level is too high - from what I've read the result can be the same as fluid level too low. Hopefully it's that easy to fix.

mine started with that then i lost 1st and 4th gear i am looking for a new box now get it to a auto place quick
