vr auto lost 3 and drive

    problem with my vr v6 auto only got 1st and 2nd computer says there is no problem can any one tell me what might be wrong:bang:

    could be the plug on the side of the box mine got caught on a stick and made the plug faulty and puts the auto into saftey mode. get under and give it a wiggle. Otherwise could be a job for the transmission shop.

    did that to they said they will sell me a reco for 1400 but didnt wont to check it again
    think their a bit bodgie

    worked good till the next day. now all i got is 1st and 2nd even in drive

    Take it to another transmission place...or if you are a member of the NRMA or RACQ or whatever ring their service section and they will tell you what they think.

    When I lost 3rd and drive it was the box . . Took it to 3 different guys and said it was rooted . Dam bloody autos!!!

    I would take it to another transmission place just to verify that the trans is stuffed . . I paid $1200 for my box but installed it my self . .
