Hey guys I'm looking at converting my 94 vr auto to a manual because I'm sick of changing auto gearboxes and I hate auto. I'm looking at buying a manual conversion kit thats out of a Vs, my question is will my motor run off the vs computer/loom? I have a feeling that it won't because vs is ecotech and vr isn't but no idea to be honest. Also my car has a crow cam and chip, will the chip need to be replaced with one for a vs? Cheers
ok no the vs ecu are differnt basically it wont run due to the vs rubs a air flow meter vr doen there are a few differences in them.. as for ur chips u will need to gfet one to suite a manual vr ecu how much they hitting u for the conversion
