Vr Berlina With Abs

Hi all,
Has anyone had any dealings with the ABS system...???

The system is genereally not working with light lamp illuminated on the dash, I have replaced all electrical/electronic modules via a good friend at a commodore spares wreckers, but nothing changed.
Even called around a Hoden dealership and got them to plug there computer into the diagnostics conector and that just said "ABS, nothing received"
They just said leave the car here with your credit card.....NO WAY.

Any suggestions, does anyone know of what the resistance of each of the ABS wheel sensors should be...???

just wondering ,when you first get into your car in the morning and back out of the drive you should be able to hear the abs system adjusting itself,makes a slight noise at first touch of the brake pedal.if gmh did a plug and play on your system they should have a bit of an idea as to what is possibly wrong,
ps does it still have the abs hubs and abs on the left hand side of motor near the water reservoir,did it work when you first got the car,have you had any of the rotors changed on the brakes,could have non abs rotors fitted
