The hall effect sensor is a magnetic switch, shouldn't matter which way round it is, check operation with a multimeter set on ohms or continuity to check, should be infinite resistance when open, measurable or zero resistance when closed, (depending on the range the meter is set to) set it to 20k or so and look for close to zero. PM me if you want and we'll get you sorted out, may get you to send some photos.

do you have the ignition module earthed to the body .pump priming the ecu probably thinks its winding over or someones really messed up the wiring

if you have any injectors plugged in you will get power on both sides of the injector plugs when testing for power .god knows what the white plugs for

well if theres no power at the ecu on them injector feeds witth ignition on and all the injectors plugged in you need to sort that out
