VR Calais 5litre help??

    G'day,

    Can anyone tell me what this hose is? The one that goes into the blue cover. I can pull it out of its hole easy, doesnt seem right.

    Also, are engine covers and rocker covers the same thing. I need to put the engine covers on, but am looking for some bolts to do it. Will these do??

    Can you pull the hose out of the fitting, or the fitting out of the rocker cover? If its the hose get a new hose clamp, if its the fitting pull it out and apply come sealant (I smeared a small amount of silicone on mine) and with a hammer bang her back in.
    Rocker covers cover the heads, the engine covers cover the fuel rails, heater hoses, throttle body, etc.

    Thanks champ, yeh the fitting is coming away from the cover. Will seal her up.

    You can get the engine cover bolts from Autobarn, Supercheap, Repco etc. They are a cap head bolt approx 20mm long, metric thread and around 5mm in diameter. Come in packets of 5-10 I think.
