My Vr recently started to make a ticking sound behind the dash. It's coming from behind the Speedo/tacko part. It will tick faster when i accelerate and die down to nothing on idle. No sounds coming from outside of vehicle.

The sound is driving me insain :(

Thats pretty much exactly what i thought my VR was doing, as i accelerate, you hear tick tick tick tick tick tick tick and it gets louder the faster you go...? i took it to a mechanic and he said it sounds like an exhaust leak... maybe exhaust manifold? i just installed a new exhaust, cat and extractors....
