Hey guys was driving home from school today then my accelerator got stuck bout half way wouldn't go back which i though was weird, for the last few days my car has been going flat also..... now just this minute my car is playing up when i turn my lights on my cd player stops working and my digital stuff like the fuel usage and the speed sensor stops working and just shows how many km's all of the abs off, fuel, airbag alerts start spaming also, turn them off then its all good? this is all when the car is running btw, oh and it is a v6
Sounds like your battery is loseing charge while you are driving it's likely your alternator is starting to die
Yep you'll get a whole dash warning light show and everything starts to shut down one by one injectors ,gearbox ,thermos and bcm etc and your gauges will start reading wrong for example you could have a full tank of fuel and the gauge will be on empty the temperature gauge will say the car is about to cook and your headlights get dimmer & dimmer Ive had it happen a few times how bad its gets depends on how much charge is left in your battery
hate to jack this thread, but could a weak alternator/battery cause just my fuel gauge to not work? also the battery light is on, on the dash.
Alll good now, took the alternator out the brushes were fine put it back in put a diff battery in still didn't work then by magic it worked haha :/
If your battery light is on constantly your battery Or alternator is faulty another commom problem is the wiring from the alternator to battery can become brittle
