    VR Executive S2 Station Wagon
    hello,
I had an issue with my VR station wagon, where my central locking would lock then instantly unlock. I was told it was my drivers actuator, which i replaced. this solved the problem overnight. So i took the car to holden who after hooking up the computer told me to check the remaining actuators. i did so and found the front passenger to be the issue, so i replaced the actuator, which again solved the problem over night. unhooking each of the ramining actuators makes no difference, neither does the others. any ideas?? cant lock the car at all, have checked all locks and handles and everything else i can see and everything seems to be working fine.

it would be the actual locking mechanism on the door that mates up with the striker plate. if you ter front drivers and passangers side you will find that the drivers side deffinatly will pop all 4 but the passanger side may do the same. its a feature that means that if you unlock from your drivers door it will to the same to each door on the car. if the rod that joins the actuator to the mechanism gets jammed either where the rod joins the mechanism or somewhere else, it will pop all of your locks up. ive hared graphite powder is good to use on these types of areas as crc can cause more hastles. because its oily it will trap and collect dust and clog up the door mechanism.
