VR Commodore cuts out.

Hi Guys / Girls hope you can help.
1. replaced :- Fuel pump
Fuel filter
Crank sensor
Relay switches
Car runs great for about 1 hour then cuts out. Let it cool down for aprox: 1 hour then it cuts out again. I am thinking of replacing coil pack or computer. I have no idea what else to do. The car is in great shape that is why I want to keep it, but this problem is driving me up the wall. Any ideas guys? Thanks in advance. Heybob.

Have you checked the Error Codes?.. Could be temp sensor, cam angle sensor...Try these things first. :spot on:

Check the codes as this may save you spending needlessly on parts.

did you replace with new or 2nd hand parts??

The fact that it cuts out when hot points to crank angle sensor. Even new ones can fail or be faulty, especially cheap ones. When it does it again, pour water over it and start it, if it starts straight away, I'd be replacing it.
