Bought this car not long ago, only running on lpg as the fuel pump was toast, aswell as the tank being full of 7-8 year old fuel. Since then dropped the tank threw it in the bin, got new pump, new fuel filter and slapped a new tank in. Was running mint of lpg no probs. Started it for the first time on petrol and hated it, held it wide open and the revs would creep up so slowly. Limped it back home from the servo and now it won’t start on petrol nor lpg now, has spark, fuel, not to sure on compression.
Also reeks of fuel in the cab and when it was running it would’ve get out of first/over 1,500 rpm.
Any ideas?
Cheers

When you change from petrol to LPG, do you hear solenoids click?
After you fit a fuel pump, it is quite hard to tighten up the 5 little bolts just right to stop fuel leaking. But then you would smell petrol outside the car as well as the cabin.

yeah i can hear it when i switch it, ended up taking throttle body off and in the elbow connecting to it had about half a cup of petty just sittitng in it. So took that out aswell as fuel rail and turns out every injector was clogged. Safe to say that is one of the big problems but still not sure why it wasnt starting on lpg as its completely separate from running it on petrol...

Check your small breather lines top of the tank, some had 3 pipes others had 2.
If it's sticking of fuel in the cabin it's feeding to the charcoal canister which is full and possibly overflowing.

Usually there is a way to start it on LPG without petrol. Depends on system: some it is hold button 5 seconds, others require switch flipped back and forth.
