yesterday the old girl decided to throw a tps fault code ( code 22 ).replaced the sensor, to no avail. tract the wiring back to computer no issues, and this fault wont leave me alone by the way all voltages are perfect at the TPS ???????????? im getting greyer by the hour. if anyone can give help on this it would be much appreciated. Code 22 - Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) low voltage cleared the code after replacing tps? (have to ask) if there is any movement available when screws are loose on the tps try setting it both ways as far as possible and retrying check the new one is the same as the old one, e.g. cap under tps where it fits on etc.
thanks for your help, it turned out to be the little plastic grommet that goes on the end of the shaft it was sitting on driveway. don't i feel like a moron. Cheers chris
