VR Commodore Rattle Rear Engine.

I have been under it for the past few weeks trying to find where the noise is coming from, It's a metallic sounding rattle from the rear of the engine, I left it overnight to cool down and the noise is barely there when idle but does get more aggressive around 1500 revs, It gets louder depending on how hot the engine gets,

I know a little bit here and there about these cars but I'm a bit at a loss with this one.
