VR Commodore Tips/Help

Hey,
just wondering about any tips you guys might have for me about changing components etc. Its done almost 310,000kms. what should i look at replacing?
also if anyone can suggest a reason why my car may be cutting out while driving. only happens when hot (over 1/2 temp). eg. be driving along at 100km/h and the engine shuts off. then i can put it in neutral, start it again and its ok...sometimes it just has very little to no power when i put my foot down to accelerate.
any help would be much appreciated

Engine oil and filter.
Air filter.
Transmission Fluid and filter.
Fuel filter.
Spark plugs and leads.
Diff oil.
Get the injectors flow tested and cleaned, or even buy new injectors.
There's probably heaps more I didn't list above but that's just the basics.

Thanks, i was thinking of changing a few filters and oils anyway, but more component-wise. fuel pump? water pump? cylinders?

Depending on how handy you are it wouldnt hurt to buy a workshop manual and rebuild it

I'll give you my short answer, depends on how much you want to spend!
You can spend $100 or $10,000 to spruce up the engine and drive line in your VR.

I spent just under $500 for my big service last year in October, I could of easily spent twice as much but I put that money towards more important things.
