    G'day,
Firstly, I want to know if ya can put a level 3 vr/vs dash (ones with LCD display) into a VR Series 1 Executive.

Secondly, i have an aftermarket steering wheel on my car, the steering wheel was not in the middle/straight when the car was driving straight,it was slightly anti-clockwise. I got a wheel alignment after doing the rack ends, the wheel is now straight since the alignment but the horn only works when the steering wheel is turned left (anti-clockwise) from neutral (straight) position. I've checked the plugs and wires are all intact and good, i havent taken the boss kit off and had a look beneath it yet though. Can anyone explain this for me?

And finally, sometimes my remote central locking button on the key doesnt always work, 85% of the time its fine, the key is new (About 6 months old). Anyone else know anything about this?

Thankyou for any help, really do appreciate it.
    Thanks
    Dan

yea just pull the cover on the horn off and there should be a wire or a metal ring (the earth connection) which should be touching some part of the steering coloumn. sometimes that wire or ring can bend or lose contact with the steering column. first thing to do would be to check if that is still connected, or fiddle around with it and touch it to different parts of the steering column and see if that fixes it. dont know about your level 3 dash question though

    thanks for replying mate.

The wires are attached all good. U can touch the neg and pos for the horn together and it only still works when the column is anti-clockwise from centre.

just make sure you get the right model dash for your car. vr for vr, vs for vs, v6 for v6, v8 for v8. Otherwise you encounter problems.

VR and VS V6 are the same and VR and VS V8 are the same.
