Vr engine light on stalling occasionally when put in gear also holding gear

Hi so I need some help !!! I have just purchased a vr statesman I'm normally a ford girl she needed a motor when I got her and that has been replaced and was going well for a week this afternoon we came around a corner and all of a sudden the Car wouldn't change gear and was reving limped for a little bit in first hen put my foot down and changed gear fine at 3/3500 rpm auto fluid is fine and hasn't missed a beat no slip or sudder on the way home the engine light came on when accelorating and go off when foot off the gas story get worse is now stalling I. Gear engine light but engine not missing a beat other wise please help !!!!

 

Nah it changes gear you basically have to drive it like you stole it and it does t slip jump or shudder when you drive it like that if you drive it normally it just holds gear engine light is now on constantly but idles well doesn't get hot also when you rev it in park the speedo says its doing 20

 

This also happend all of a sudden when Turing a corner no slip etc before that

 

Happy to say it was the TPS it's now changed and running beautifully again cheers for your help
