    Hi

I have a 93 VR wagon, the fuel sender has decided to go haywire, never giving a true reading. So its time to replace it.
I want to know if it is possible to put a sender in that will get the fuel light working? Obviously I would have to get a sender that has this capability, and a bulb in the instrument panel but is this all I would have to do?

Also can a VS sender be used? And can these be bought new?

Any info would be great, thanks

93 VR sender will be different to a VS sender, the length from the plate that bolts to the tank and the pump is shorter in a VS (and later VR's), also the plugs and wiring is different.

Are you 100% sure it's the sender causing the issue and not the wiring/plugs or the cluster?
