This project is turning in to a lemon we have 2 x 100 mm fractures in the towers facing the fire wall but not parted . Any one have any recent experience with cost and whats involved is it just a mater of running a mig weld over the cracks ?
Where getting some quotes next week but want to be up to speed with some fair prices .
The repair needs to be passable by the engineer when he does the car .

I'm yet to hear you mention how much you paid for this ute so I'm assuming you a bit out of pocket but it sounds like it's had a fairly hard life and it's going to do the same to you so I'd cut your loses and run!

just weld over the cracks, grind them flush then get a crack test done with a full report, would think dye pen or whats it called where they use the magnet and magnetic spray.
