Well, Since Ive bought my VR.. had nothing but problems..Ive talked to my mum about fixing it up and all.. But she thinks I should get a car like a VT or such which has luxurys and such..
I want Air con, a smoother ride, a more fuel efficient car.. ; My car has none of that..
I do like my car.. I enjoy driving it.. I only bought it because I looked it like a book.. I judged it by its cover.. and didnt car about whats inside.. Now I regret that.

What should I do..
Spend money on getting my car fixed..
or
Sell the car and buy a newer car..

vs commodore
Is it serviced regularly etc, and have you checked for any ECU error codes that might be set. Even a VT will need parts and money spent on it if you want it to stay in excellent condition and drive like new etc.One good thing about the commodores is new parts are plentiful and cheap to buy.Especially VN/VS parts.

I had the car serviced before christmas and a i regularly check my oil and coolant and such.. Ive apparently got a Coolant leak on the intake manifold .. and that I need to replace my 'trans extension seal'..
The car has clunks in the transmission and im due for new tyres soon.. thats really my real major problems with the car..
Yeah.. I mean I could sell my car.. Buy a VT or something and have more problems..

Can't say, people whine every time I talk sense.

But I wouldn't try chasing power from a V6 unless you go forced induction.
That said, if you MUST, there is more options for the ecotec.

Agree 100% but I don't think the OP was talking about power, more so reliability etc.

Well in that case, neither a VR or VS is going to solve his problem. Old cars break down, fact of life.

Yep if you want fuel economy probably best to by a fiesta LOL. A VS on gas will go for years if its looked after and great fuel.
