Hi everyone, got a problem with my 94 vr. My Parker lights are stuck on constant without the light switch being on! I’ve had this issue before but then it stopped doing it after a while. I recently got a new three button key programmed and kept my original head on the new fob but the issue has come back, I’ve changed the light switch but nothing, a couple days after I got my key cut I noticed when I took my keys out of the ignition the car would still be running, I’m pretty sure it’s the ignition switch so I put my original fob back in my old key head and it’s stopped doing it but still have the Parker issue!
many help would be great cheers fellas

Check the rear globes. If one is earthing there, you’d get this problem.

Go through the plugs and check them, clean them.

Look for any obvious damage to the harness.

Also try removing the rear globes and front parking light globes. Then use a multimeter to see if the circuit is still faulty. If not, it’s one of the globes or it’s socket is the problem. Put each one back in until the fault occurs again. Then clean the socket out and change the globe.
