ok my vr 5 speed wagon started playing up when u drive it its jurks carrys on like its starving for fuel and at round abouts or complet stop wich is dangerouse it has no throttle respons like u push the pedal its nufin like its bout to run outer fuel sometimes its stalls then starts back up.......then drives like a normale vr then does it again very embarrising sometimes but wen it plays up basically there no response to the throttle i push it rite down and up continously nufin..no response then after sitting on side road for few minutes i can finally take off im guessing air leak around throttle body or throttle body gasket sucking air if so would this cause sympton also wen playing up the engine light comes on and off this would happen if it had air leak where gasket is on throttle body? cheers guys hope i made sense any help would be very greatfull basically car is too dangerouse to drive and need help asap

We would only be guessing and that would be pointless, doing an error check will help point you in the right direction.
i think found the problem the throttble body where throttle body gasket is is sucking air im guessing that would cause all th sysmtons lol
Yep, no throttle body gasket + Gap = More air into the intake before the MAP and IACV can take a reading.
yer gunna pull it off tommrow put new gasket on hope all goes well lol cheers everyone shal let use know tommrow
