Hey Guys, 1st Question When i drive my car it is at 500rpm its an auto VR now is this normal to rev at idle at 500rpm? Just curious wat is the normal idleing RPM for a VR as i mite have to fix it. Also when im driving and brake it sounds like the engine is gonna die on me or has stalled when it gets to 500rpm is this normal? 2nd Question How do i take out the original stereo head unit and replace it with a brand new one? what is the process? We'll continue using this thread as this one has more info in it, u can post more info in a thread by hitting the 'edit' button Q1: i believe the normal idle rpm is ~700, for the stalling, i would start with a quick throttle removal and clean, removing the sensors and cleaning them with carby cleaner. refit and see how she goes. Others will have more ideas but thats all i can think of atm. Q2: i believe there is a 'how-to' on this in the how to section of the forum. check thru that, and/or do a quick search, there was just another thread about this that i checked before with a quick run down in this very section.
